Hi All,
I just want to understand, how do we get our design out to production and construction phase with all the freedom we have with the nurbs desiginning. Can we acheive the same precision in construction as what we have while desigining the same building. I am talking about the Architectural building as designed by Zaha Hadid, Frank Gayry and other great renowed Architects of the world.
Is there any software which supports Rhino's design and model from where we can Document…

dear readers,
firstly, i would like to thank you all for such great support on this site. i have learned a lot over the last few years of dabbling with grasshopper thank to you guys (however, i'm still technically a uber newbie)
i am currently working on this mosque project and it requires me to create an inner leaf of a double curved roof structure that is composed of little semi/quarter domes (sadly i don't know what they are called). like…

This developed algorithm is constructed to acquire particular rules strategy of tall building design. It consists of geometric design components, which are used in automation of design variations, where criteria, assumptions, and values are established. The developed generative algorithm presents a method for exploring multiple aspects of tall buildings design in terms of internal and external generators. It delineates architectural design integration with aerodynamic modifications,…

I'm really excited to announce the release of several new Firefly endeavors I've been working on over the past few months. The first is the release of a new Firefly Build (1.0067) which is compatible with the latest version of Grasshopper (0.9.0006). This release has a lot of new features including: an entirely re-written Firefly Firmata, multiple web-cam support,…

This definition is a compilation of three major executions. The first is to create a randomly generated pattern based on input parameters. The second is to flow the generated pattern over any given input surface, a command that does not exist yet in grasshopper. The last command splits the given input surface using the gerated pattern and…

This definition creates a parametric hyperbolic paraboloid surface at any given point in space. The variables allow for complete control over the maximum and minimum values for X and Y Axis. The Z axis is controlled by the given formula for a hyperbolic paraboloid. The definition allows for a variable level of accuracy to the mathematically true…
