algorithmic modeling for Rhino
the mesh(+) user object set has been significantly updated repairing several errors, clarifying component structure and adding new component types.
Updates for v1_02 include:
-version 1_02 introduces new nGon components which duplicate the functionality of the mesh face Subdivide and mesh face Effect components, but allow for vertex inputs of more that 4 points. Inputs are a list of points which should…

As mentioned in my earlier post I tinkered up a little quadtree definition, which in fact became an octree definition. The main component 'OCTREE' delivers 3 output streams: 'final' represents all the boxes that are the result of the point-specific number of recursions. 'iterated' represents all boxes that have been collected on the way of recursions, as long as they contained the point in question. 'skipped' represents all boxes that ehh..that have been skipped because they didn't contain…

Updated version of Gridshell Components:
The string output now provides useful reference data in the following form:
aaa_b-ccc-ddd/e-fff-ggg_h
where
aaa = Intersection node reference number
for lath:
b = lath set (1, 2 or 3)
ccc = lath ref
ddd = intersection ref for…

Hi everybody,
I need a hand on a gh definition for a false ceiling with "hanging cubes"..
I've created a grid of surfaces from a single surface and then extruded them with a random height. Now i'd simply like to get rid of those cubes which intersect columns (represented by vertical lines/or boxes).
I think i'm pretty close to the solution cause i was able to identify the intersected elements but for unknown reasons the cull operator doesn't work the way i want..…
