algorithmic modeling for Rhino

So I have an undulating hexagonal pattern, I'm looking to distort the pattern on a surface.  I've enclosed the file below.  I'd like it to basically map a mesh and the by changing the mesh control points be able to distort the pattern.

thanks,

Hi Liam,

Really nice pattern.
How do you want to distort the pattern?
Do you want to follow the mesh/surface?
What input would the control points of the mesh would have?

Cheers

I want to have the hexagon patterns to map to a surface then the control points(on the surface) to distort the pattern i already have. I'm not even sure if this is possible, I might have to start from the beginning of the definition and rewrite the logic. The problem is matching a surface's control points to a hexagons.
Hi Liam,

It is possible, Have a look at the enclosed this is similar to what you want!

I'll have a look at it later as I need to go out.

I like the definition. For my own however, I was looking for a distortion similar to this.

Hi,

Please look at the enclosed, this can be a start. You need to rebuild the target surface and move its control points to change the pattern.
