Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello everyone I am very new to Grasshopper and can not wrap my head around solving this problem. I have a truss algorithm that follows a lofted surface. I piped these lines but I do not like the look. I would rather have a rectangular tube or triangular prism follow these lines.

Does anyone know a good way to "pipe" lines with a box extrusion instead of a circle?

thanks!

Hi

see if the attached will do. It makes use of Weaverbird, so hopefully you've installed that. Otherwise it might still be possible, but this the easiest way I think

Yes that worked, almost. I installed WB and replaced your curves with mine. Something might be wrong with my portion of code. ..or maybe I cut your code wrong. The original Truss GHX came from someone else by the way. I am learning by dissecting GHX's.

The GHX is attached. Thank you so much Gijs!

if you right click on the line component that connects to my definition, and select flatten, you get a perfect result.

Wow.

Thank you Gui
