point cloud minimum perimeter

Hello friends

As I mention in the title, because I want to point cloud lock with lower polygon perimeter.

As you will see I make an attempt but the criterion of the algorithm fails in some cases.

Any idea?

Hello friend I can not even solve the 2D case, I have the idea of ​​applying Kangoroo. It occurs to me simulate an elastic band that fits perimeter points. One could do the same for the 3D market but with a mesh elastic.
