According to Wikipedia, sin(z)-sinh(x)*sin(y)=0 is the implicit equation
I don't know if the equations I posted is the real parametric equations of the surface.
So you think that the the parametric equations are better than implicit equation, right?
This particular set of parametric equations aren't as useful to fit a nurbs surface through them. It's still better than trying to generate an isosurface from the implicit equation. I had to cheat a bit to not overcomplicate things, see attached:
