Installing Grasshopper for all Users

Hello,

I am an administrator at a University and I have 30 lab computers I need to install grasshopper on. What is the best solution to do this? I though I figured it out, but after having our image distributed, the install did not stick, and I can't install the program for every user that logins in (350 Students + faculty).

HELP. Please and Thank you.

Hi Joseph,

Brian Gillespie (who is the Rhino product manager and also responsible for the RHI installer engine) has been working on making it possible to do a network install. I'm not sure how far he's gotten, but he'll be able to help you out.

I'm in exactly the same position. I found that my changes didn't stick when deployed via SCCM, but I'm sure the problem is not the deployment. Did you find a fix?

Installing Grasshopper for all users has just gotten a LOT easier. You'll need to upgrade all your client machines to Rhino 5 SR6 or later, and then follow the deployment instructions here.
