algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello All,

I want to import a baked geometry (parametric brick wall) into AutoDesk Revit.

i have imported as *.SAt file. It gave me a message something like 'curves will not be saved'.

However, it got imported all good.

but now I cannot attach any material to it and hence it will not render.

Can anyone throw some light onto the problem?

Cheers

If I recall a sat file only contains (poly)surfaces hence the warning about curves not transferring.

Did you import it into an in place component?  I can't see how to assign a material there either, and I can't see that a generic model family could be categorized as a wall.

What does your wall look like?  Can it be defined as a system family based object?

Hi Jon,

Please accept my apologies for late reply.

Thanks for your reply. Well, I have imported my wall, and rendered it. and have resigned to the idea that the wall will not be rendered
