algorithmic modeling for Rhino

What is this symbol?

Going through a few tutorials and came across this symbol but cannot find it at all. I'm using the latest Grasshopper and I think the tutorial is using an older version, so it might not be available anymore. Apologies for the small resolution, but I had to take the image directly from the .pdf file. 

It's the one to the top right of the <curves> component, seems to be a red curved line, with the middle section in black, with a double pointed arrow above it. I think the inputs are C and r with the output r.

I think it's the join curves component. Find it under Curve/Util.

Then again, it's hard to tell with the quality of the image....
