Renaming Indices and/or Paths

I am creating a small algorithm that applies user defined transformations to points that have been assigned letters using a tag3D component. I would like to attach a panel to final list to show their "Z" elevation and get their heights.

As this will be used by people in my office, the letter tagging vs numbered indices might get confusing.

I can't really leave them as numbers as the points are separated into various groups, ie. Pt Aa, Ab, Ac...

Pt Ba, Bb. Bc... and so forth.

With that being said, is it possible to rename indices and/or paths to strings other than their default numbering?

I think I've managed something with concatenating strings. But you can imagine this being tedious with a bigger point list...
