algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Please find the attached files. At the end of the files I create 4point surfaces. However, I get 2 copies of surfaces. Want to get rid of one of them.
This file will require Ladybug (Plugin).
Thanks,

An image of your problem and process would be really helpful in order to know if we can help without opening your files
Hi Georgios,
Thank you for responding.
I am attaching the screen shots of my file and duplicate surfaces.
Thanks,
Here's the pdf showing duplicate files and grasshopper definition.

You don't need to create a different sunpath for each window. you also don't really need to calculate HSA and VSA since you have the sun vectors. In case you still want to calculate HSA and VSA use the normal of the surface and sunVectors and calculate the angle between the vectors on a plane.
I posted some tutorials how to use sunpath and there is an example for shading however use a component for that: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/group/ladybug/forum/topics/sunpath-tut...
I'll try to send you an example file later today.

I am exactly doing that Mostapha using sun vectors.
Thanks,
Ladybug is a collection of userObjects and not .GHA plugin so you don't really need to have it installed to be able to open the file. You only need GHPython to be installed. -Mostapha
Thanks for Responding Mostapha. I am MEBD 13. I am using Ladybug Sunpath to design Static Shading (Overhang and Fins) para metrically. Ladybug works perfectly fine. I am having trouble with some duplicate surfaces.
Hi Devang! Did you watch the tutorials. As I said I'll try to make a simple example that you can use as a reference.
Hi Mostapha, I have watched these videos. The were hugely helpful for me to understand the sunpath in Ladybug.
My idea is to design overhang and fin for each window, and I am doing it as you said using sun vectors. The whole process is para metric. Everything works fine except the duplicate surfaces that I get when I subdivide the main surface.
However, this issue is not related to Ladybug. The issue is with my grasshopper definition. I am sure this is solvable problem. Working on it.
Thank you! You are an inspiration!
Hey Guys, I have resolved the issue of duplicating surfaces. It was data structure issue.
I thank you Mostapha and Georgios for concern. Appreciate it.
Thanks,
