algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey,
I would like to ask if there is another possibility than in the link below for trimming breps with curves, this is from 2009. I didn't find sth more up-to-date, ... I run into this problem while I played arround with some stuff and the solution with the VB component didn't work for me.
The picture shows my attempt using solid trim on the left, but what I want to reach is on the right (which is made manually in rhino)

I appreciate any ideas and help!

Thanks!

hey guys,

I need to do something more or less like this ( actually more like the photo you uploaded in the next comment with the "bubbles"). The thing is that I am having problems with the definitions you used. Can you please tell me how did you loft the 2D voronoi? in the definition i need to set a curve and a surface but I don't seem to understand how to set them properly in order to get this result ^.

P.S. Level in grasshopper: obviously beginner :) I would deeply appreciate any kind of help and advice
