Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I am still getting more acquainted with grasshopper, but here is my problem:

I am trying to make a zigzag pattern that turns into a soft curve, while keeping in centered in one direction.

Not sure if I can maybe change the degree of a curve based on a point attractor system?

Thanks,

Emilio

Something like this ?

Thank you Systemig.

That works.

I guess the only way to approach it is by filleting the lines instead of modifying a nurbs curve's degree value...

I appreciate the help.

I don't think it is the only approach, playing with control points, weights and knot vector should probably work but I don't quite know how to do it.

By the way, degree can't be seen as local property along the curve, it is a global property of a nurbs, a single number. You can modelize only polylinear curves with degree 1, but you can modelize curves with angles and smooth sections with higher degrees.
