solution exception: the type initializer for fem.karambaPINVOKE threw an exception

Dear all,

I am running a karamba definition that it´s working on other computers but not on mine.

I receive the following message in the component "Assemble":

Solution exception: the type initializer for fem.karambaPINVOKE threw an exception

I would like to ask for ideas where the problem could come from..

I have a clean install of Rhino and grasshopper running in Bootcamp

Rhino Version 5 SR3 (5.3.30426.17065, 04/26/2013)

Grasshopper 0.9.0014

Karamba 1_0_3_GH_09_0014

Dear Dario,

the Karamba manual 1.0.3. contains the section 'trouble shooting' which lists possible causes and remedies for the error you encounter. Have you already consulted it?

I have tried now all of the remedies in the Karamba manual but without success.

Do you have any other ideas?

Dear Dario,

do you use Rhino5 64bit or Rhino5 32bit (both versions get installed)? Do you use the corresponding version of karamba?

I do not have a MAC, which makes it hard for me to reproduce your error. The problem in your case is, that the grasshopper.dll can not communicate with karamba.dll.

The current version of Kanagroo now also comes with a .dll. You could try to search the Kangaroo discussions for 'installation'. The recipes there should also apply to karamba.
