algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys, what's the simple way to do a 2D shape's selection from bottom to top?

Can you elaborate. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "selection". Are you looking to sort a bunch of objects from lowest to highest? If so, what sort of objects?

I'm sorry David. This is my definition, I need to do a selection of these shapes from bottom to top. Sometimes it works, while sometimes no I need to put "reverse" to surface. I need that ITEM INDEX ZERO is the bottom shape. Hope that U could help me.

Get the centroid of each surface and simultaneously sort the 'y' values and the surfaces.

I don't know if I do it right, but seems to work!! ;-)

If you want to sort points along Y, then you get the points (the [Area][C] output in your case), then decompose the point into loose X, Y and Z coordinates and then sort the T while synchronously sorting the original data.

I'd post an image but at the moment my Grasshopper is non-functional.
