algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello people...
I have a 2d Grid that its been manipulated by some attractor points, however this is happening both in x and y direction. How Can I make the distortion to happen in the Z direcction as well, As if my attractors points were bubles rather than circles and my grid lines would move around them in all 3 directions.... X,Y,Z
Take a look at the jpeg and the gh definition. Any ideas for it to become a rd grid....?
Thanks

fantastic work igor!
thank you very much. one question more!
is it also possible, that the deformation happen just to the face normals.
so that the shape of the cylinder does not change,
but the isocurve on the surfaces-normal become deformed.
i think that the deformation could be (maybe) similar to michael works:
http://formularch.blogspot.de/2012/06/gh-grid-spreading.html
http://formularch.blogspot.de/2012/05/gh-grid-pinching.html
but for the cylinder.
i think you can do it. ;-)
thanks
...if I understand you right...(I dont now why image blinking)...
thank you igor,
i think that i need more time to understand you def.
but for the moment i have the impression that not only small area
can be changed, but the isocurves of the whole cylinder is deformed.
is that so?
can these transformations also be applied to smaller areas of the cylinder?
thanks
Yes, try to use Bounds(Box) input in the PointCharge component (aligne
it along Surf Normal).
