Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello all,

I am developing a plugin and some of the testers can not install that in the usual way (copy to the component library). What can cause this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Anton,

what happens when they drag the GHA file onto the canvas. Does a 'no-can-drag-here' mouse cursor appear?

Hi David,

Thanks for your answer.

The problem is that they could not even see the tab with the plug-in.

Best Regards,

Anton

Could it be that the tab is not visible until scrolled into view? I'd like a screencap (including the mouse-pointer) of the attempt of dragging a GHA file onto the canvas.

Also, another approach is to open the components folder (Grasshopper File menu, Special Folders -> Components Folder) and drop the GHA file there directly.

A Grasshopper+Rhino restart may be required after doing a manual install.

Hi David,

Here is the screenshot.

Thanks in advance

Hmm, can you upload (or email) me the onihRRstab.Gh.gha file? I'd like to see whether it tries to load it but fails.

Hello David,

Thanks for your help.

I sent an email with plug-in to your address.

Thank you.

Hello David,

Thank you for your help. We followed your advice and solved the problem. It was in the lack of libraries on the tester's computer.

Thanks again!

I have to test the plugin but had the same problem - plugin tab didn't appeared after copying into the component library
