algorithmic modeling for Rhino

telescoping geometries

I am trying to get a series of concentric extrusions to collapse and expand into each other, like a telescope. However, I would like for them to collapse and expand based on an attractor point. The amount of expansion or collapsing depends on the location of this point. Attached is the gh file. I am quite the beginner.
