Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi

I'm trying to use the isotrim/divide domain/circle into the centroid approach to generate a curved surface with circular perforations. Only thing is I can't get the circles to align to the surface, they just face upwards. Is there a tool within the plane drop down that does this?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Use the surface normal vector at the centroid to create a plane tangential to the surface. You can create a circle using a plane as base.

Hi Hannes, thanks for your reply!

Does that mean I'll need to evaluate the surface? which components will I need?

Thanks

Adam
