Evaluate Curve, Perp Frame and Point on Curve discrepancies?

Hello,

I can't figure out why there is a difference between the evaluate curve and the point on curve components on the file attached (image below)?

I Hope you can help to find the problem.

Please reset your PointOnCurve to 1/2(Mid) it is very slightly off. The parameter error is below 0.01 so the display won't show.

Thanks Hannes, this is strange, I don't think that I changed the parameter from the default one. How did you see the full parameter?

I did not see the full parameter, just tried to reset since PointOnCurve was the only one off.

You can verify the parameter by feeding the point and the curve back trough a CurveCP component and inspect t. This will return 0.505639 for your PointOnCurve. (Actually this should display .51 but maybe the display just truncates the digits)

Point On Curve works on length factors. So 0.25 is 25% along the length of the curve. The other components use curve parameters which are not guaranteed to increase linearly along the curve.
