algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I'm trying to approach following problem:
I Have a given volume with flexible units packed inside of it(units can change size or either be entirely culled).
How to use Galapagos in order to rich these two parameters as high as possible:
1.Area of each unit
2.Area of illuminated walls (with direct light).
I imagine the effect of such 'erosion' of given units as something similar to the 3D Random Gradient like below:
but i guess Galapagos might bring completly different answers...
My so far approach(GH8.69) is based on 2D variant for a beggining. Unfortunately even 2d version does not seem to work as should and I somehow intuitively understand why.
That definition might contain some bugs and for sure it's not the simpliest way.
Any hints how to make it work ?
Thank You

I simplified previous definition and add attractor indicating area which is desired for better illumination.
Also, now there is no area parameter on the output and the goal is to have as much light inside as possible.
Light source comes from two directions.
Don't understand why galapagos still does not seem to change quads in order to provide more light around that point attractor.
Light source comes from two directions.
Does anyone know how to gain a pressure in galapagos solver ?
Thank You for any help !
Hi guys!
Adam, I'm very interested in this definition and I have some questions!
how did you decide the two best direction of the sun rays?
How can I have more than 4 points in each grid cell?
What the polygons in the grid cells represent?
