algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello
I have attached an image of a model I made from paper.
I am trying to do the following in GH;
1. start by modelling a landscape in Rhino
2. cover it in circles and vary the size using attractors (but so that they are touching, not leaving space in between)
3. extrude them to create cones, (maybe I can vary the depth in places)
4. then thicken the wall of these cones, (maybe I can vary this thickness in places)
Please can anyone suggest a general process I could work through which might help as I can't seem to find any precedents.
Thank you in advance

Thanks for this reply.
I'm looking into this and also a tip from a someone about using the panelling tool to divide your 3D surface into a grid and put the circles inside.
I'll hopefully upload whichever works...
I realised that it is very simple to do what I was trying to do without GH, just the panelling tools;
Making a surface of cones which vary in aperture;
1. Make a surface
2. ptGridSurfaceDomain to divide into panel grid
3. use panel custom 2D and choose a shape
4. use pfFin edge to extrude the finished curves.
