How to get Objects by Layer

Hi,

I want to get points object in the specific layer so that I can use(output) these to connect to other component. I managed to get all objects' guid in the specific layer by referencing the previous post in this discussion forum, but I couldn't managed to get the specific type of object(like On3dPoint) out of all objects and convert MRhinoObject to On3dPoint. How can I get OnNurbs Objects out of MRhinoObject?
