Can't reproduce this. Definition works fine.

Hovering over the red popup bubble might help to find the error.

this is strange. i used the def bevore, time ago with another rhino install i think.

the error message doesnt help me , because its causing probs at the interpolate component however the NULL items coming out of the vb component. could you save your def and post it here, maybe its works then for me, thanks !

I just downloaded and openend the definition from the link you posted.

The VB component is obviously red for you. Which means that there is an error in the component, probably causing the Nulls. Whatever comes after the azi output will obviously fail, because null is not valid data. So don't worry about that, find out what's causing the nulls.

To get this component to work, you need to analyze the error message of the VB component. Since I don't get any fatal errors, it would help a lot to just post the message in the little red balloon in the top right of the VB component.

Randomly connecting and disconnecting stuff or maybe uninstalling/installing random programs with the trial/error method is the only other way get this thing fixed...

Did you edit your post or did I just miss the screenshot?

You had your VB comonent red in the first post. How did you solve this? What was the original error on that component?

As said above, if Azi is all null, there will be no points to interpolate... let's find out why the VB script fails. Anything changed on the inputs compared to the fresh file from the site?

no, after opening the vb gives me null items. every output gives null.

the component is also displayed as (LEGACY).

Okay, version of GH and Rhino are you using?

The code should at least display two warnings that usin RMA.Rhino stuff isn't recommended. Drop some copies of Print("I was here...xx") throughout the code and put a panel to the out output, please.

problem is now solved by updating from 0.9.0006 to 0.9.0014
