thank you! sorry, my question wasn't clearly enough.

but i want to close the loft, i've created, with a new loft. see attached file.

do you now what i mean? perhaps the instruction to create a lofted surface is not the right way to make it?

I used a simple Rhino curve for the section input to a Sweep2 component to get the first half of the cap.  I then used the one of the edge curves from that surface to sweep the other half of the cap.  You could use a parametric section curve in place of the Rhino curve...I just was to lazy to put the time in to set it up.

I am not getting the same result as you posted on that last image.
Can you attach te last version of your file .gh file please?

EDIT: I see Chris has already solved the problem.
