algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi, all,

Hi,Rajaa, thank you for your amazing tools. And I'm new to paneling tools.

Here I have a question: I want to form diamond panels based on a closed srf. But how can I get closed diamond panels? Best Regards,

Hi Fleur,

The diamond pattern occupies 2 unit grids.  This is why it runs out of grid to cover towards the end (seam).
You grid around the cylinder is closed, but in order to deal with a diamond pattern, you need to wrap the grid or extend it by one more row (possibly col depending on your grid direction).  That is to duplicate the second row (at index 1) and attach to the grid as a new row.
To do that, there is a PT-GH component that you can use after the grid is created (before converting to diamond).

Hi, Rajaa,

Really thank you for your helpful reply.

Regards,

Fleur
