ifc not generated in revit

Hi all!

I'm doing a simple space truss as a case study on importing GH to revit:

I get to bake the stuff on GH, but when import ifc on revit it shows an error message:

Honestly, I have no clue of what the reasons may be..

I split the model to import separetly some pieces.. Rhin and GH files attached!

I'd apreciate any suggestions! Thanks!

Hi Tiago,

Are you certain you tried to import the IFC file created from this definition?

I opened and baked and the Revit import succeeded, but I had some funny short members.  On closer inspection, the internal members were being duplicated, I've attached the revised gh def (using Kangaroo to filter duplicates) and the ifc file I get.

Note one suggestion that I intend to implement is an option where IFC components creating data that won't work well in Revit.  I'll hopefully get a chance to implement this soon.

Hum, I might have tried to import a wrong file, since now everything works just fine! haha..

I know its just a glimpse of what can be achivied, but im already excited!
