Hi ,

I've got a problem when following a tutorial video, when i try to offset a surface its not offseting inside the surface it just came out of the surface depend on the distance

can someone help me to solve this?

Hi Hagani,

It's because surfaces can be offsetted in accordance to their normals.
What you need to do is offset the edge curve of your surface first, and then make a surface from that offsetted edge:

Input your "Pline" component into the "Curve" parameter in attached file ("Curve" parameter is the small thing at beginning of the attached .gh definition). Be sure to have "C" input plug of your "Pline" component set to "True".

Also change the "XZ plane" component in my definition with "YZ plane".

Maybe try to "Flip the normal direction" component or offset with "-" value.
thankyou djordje ,kuba its really help me , finally i offset the curve using offset curve component and using "-" value then i tworks! :D
So djordje , after all why did i didnt i get my basic shape on every subsurface its only place on 1 subsurface?
