algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello,
I'm new to grasshopper, and while it is simple to me to model with Rhino, I can't quite figure out where to start in grasshopper.
Basically I am about to model a "simple" hemispherical dome.
The fact is, I'm unsure how to model it because it has to be parametric (control points on the surface itself and along the whole perimeter of the half sphere).
In fact I'd like to control with sliders both the span and the height of the dome.
Which is the simplest/fastest way to model it, by grabbing a geometry from Rhino then edit it or.......?
Any help and suggestion is very welcome
Thanks!

Hi Daily,
Ola's approach on this is with mathematical "touch", and thus more sophisticated.
Mine is a bit humble:
You can choose the paneling of your dome from solid, to quadrangular, triangular and diamond ones (as shown on above image).
This is all thanks to a great plugin called Lunchbox, which you will have to install from here, in order for definition to work.
thanks a lot, any suggestion is precious to me as I'm a beginner.... thanks!
thank you for the suggestion, I'll try and let you know how it goes! thanks!
I´m trying to do Ola´s example, but i can´t find the box which has the input:G,P,X,Y,Z and output:G,X.
Where do I find it?
Welcome to
Grasshopper
