one way could be to have the single lines, offset them on both sides (perhaps this is how you did the above), and make them into closed rectangular polylines. Then you should be able to use the region union component.

or multiple curves intersect and then use the t parameter and cull every 2nd. Is not perfect but works.

Me too! Im having trouble culling duplicate points, when I use the cull duplicates component both points selected disappear from the list.. is this normal?

How can I decide the minimal distance between the perimetral points? They're random, but i would like to obtain a net with more distance among the intersections. Is that possibile?
