grasshopper for Rhino 4 SR8

Grasshopper is able to run on Rhino4 SR8, if it doesn't, it's probably due to some other problem. If you're unable to load Grasshopper, please post the error message you get and we'll try and figure out what's wrong.

I'm having a problem downloading grasshopper for rhino 4 sr9, from - http://www.grasshopper3d.com/page/download-1.

I'm using the second link named:Grasshopper for Rhino 4.0, but, when I try to install it the setup clearly specify that this's grasshopper for rhino 5. When it finish installing, I open rhino 4, and type grasshopper and nothing appears. But it seems to be install in the computer. ( I can see the program folder in the :C ).

I had the same problem. Just grab the grasshopperPlugin.rhp file and drag it into your Rhino window and it will work. The folder says Grasshopper for Rhino 5 but it does work for Rhino 4.

I'm having the exact same problem. The setup screen specifies the Grasshopper is only compatible with Rhino 5 and the installation is interrupted with an error message. David, can you please confirm the (second) download link for Rhino 4 is valid?

Hej,

Sorry for not getting back earlier. I have tried the installer for Rhino 4, SR9 and it worked straight away. It was also a different installer then before, and didn't specify itself as a Rhino5-only version anymore.
