algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I have a problem for preparing 3D output model for CNC milling.
The script was written about randomly moving objects that draw 3D path when they move to the z coordinate.
I was told that a model for CNC has to be solid. And here (picture below) I have just simple sticks that interselect. Is there any posibility to convert this model to solid one (deleting inner mass). What is more when I try grasshopper it only deals with 2 solid objects, but not with a bunch of them.

You are showing:
1 cap
2 boolean
but for boolean you can operate only on two objects but not on a group of them.
As a result, my question was how to clean geometry as much as possible, as boolean command is only used for 2 objects.
Hi Tom.
If I recall it correctly, there is a command called "Boolean2Objects" which can be used for only 2 objects.
But "BooleanUnion" can be used for more than 2 objects. At least this is the case with version of Rhino 4 SR8 I am using.
I am out of dated... Thank you for replies:)
Can you explain this scheme, please:)
..."In general, for NC milling is not necessary to have a solid mesh"
Maybe you do not need the NC Milling, and needed 3D Print.
Only in this case there is a need to have a solid mesh.
