I'm trying to subdivide a curve by a given number of points, making it relative to the distance between the curve and a close-by object (attractor point).
So far I have achieved a certain similarity to what I want to do but in a very neandertal way..
I cannot figure out the way to make variable subdivision points.
Attached are the files I'm working with, there are two options, both are based on vectors drawn from the original regular point division to the closest point on the curve to the attractor point. I'm just scaling them down to give me modified positions for the original points.
Does anyone know of any cleaner and real solution to this issue?
