What is Isopod and Termite??

Hello guys,

I have seen tabs named Isopod and Termite in a screenshot webinar by Andy Payne. I am very curious to know about it and what it will do. And is that available to public? i have searched a little bit, but couldn't get any satisfying results though.

Isopod and Termite were two small research projects started at Harvard GSD. Isopod was originally developed by Panagiotis Michalatos, but was never really released publicly (it was just used as part of a class he taught at the GSD)... it was primarily dedicated to some sound and video analysis tools. Some of this has been folded into recent releases of Firefly. Termite was a joint research project between Andy Payne, Panagiotis Michalatos, Eddy Man Kim, and Marshall Prado and was going to be a series of robotic fabrication tools... although other developers built equivalent (or better) tools so we decided not to continue developing the toolset. These were never really released either.
