How to Get Branch.count

I was wondering if grasshopper have any components to retrieve the total value of branch.count or branch.length. Grasshopper do have component to get the number of item in each branch, but simply, does it have any component to get the total number of the branch?

for example: if I have 5 branch with 10 items each. How can I get the value of 5 later in the process. Of course, the case Im working with is not as simple as this since I have different set of data, and I want to compare then give condition to specific data with the biggest number of branch.

Please help.

That is brilliant!! I did not know that we have to first bait it with tree branch component to find the list of the branch, then the list length component (to find total list of item in a data set) become component to find total branch in a data set. Thanks !!!

how do you retrieve the list length of each branch or subset... the N Value? Closest thing i've found is explode tree but feel like there has got to be a more dynamic/efficient method... thoughts?

just connect your list length to your edges, no?

you would think, but for some reason I can't get it to work... not quite sure what I'm doing wrong. (heard pathmapper with a {(If(item_count=2,0,1))} clause might be an option but haven't quite figured that one out.)

i attached the .gh file below (currently using rhino 4 until the voronoi component gets worked out)
