Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone,

I've just been following along on a Paneling Tools for Grasshopper demonstration, but I've hit a snag.  At a point in Rajaa Issa's definition, she has a function icon that I can't find in any menu - and she doesn't say the name so I can't search it.

It would read: f at x to the n. and it has inputs a, and b, and an output r.

I'm guessing it got bundled with another function or the icon changed.

I'm running v. 0.9.0006.

Could anyone tell me what that component is called, or where to find it?  Or even what it does so I can try to do it some other way?

Thank you!

Matt

Hi Matt,

Maybe Evaluate component, located in Math > Script tab, since GH 0.9 the name of the component has changed from f1, f2, fn (function)..

Hi Yasser,

yeah I did see that in the Math tab.  I tried it a bit, but maybe I'll fool around with it some more.

Thanks!
