Hi all:
I'm new to Grasshopper Beta, so first let me say that I'm very impressed! Thanks for your great work.
As a noob, I'm not yet familiar with all of the available functions, so forgive me if this is a silly question: will it ever be possible for users to define their own custom Node types? In other parametric packages like ProE, NX, and Catia, I can define "User Defined Features" or "Power Copy" elements that allow me to define a complex set of features that sprout from a given input type.
It would be great to have functionality like this in Grasshopper, because the node tree can get unruly really quickly: it would be nice to be able to group complex or repetitive sets of nodes into a single node, thus making the tree much easier to read, and much easier to copy/paste between documents.
Ideally I'd like to have a library of custom nodes available for use in a custom toolbar, but I'm getting ahead of myself! :)
Does this already exist, or are there plans for something like it?
All the best,
