If you are looking at building footprints then yes, because I tried. As long as something is on the openstreetmap it can be imported. The tricky part is to find out what the tag is (by looking through the file in notepad). In my case it was "building". (Or "buildings", I don't remember.)

I was just looking at the xml file with notepad and see what tags are in it. I'm sure there are better ways but I'm just a beginner.
