Facade using boxmorph

I just started using rhino a couple months ago. Im triying to work on a surface or a facade that can adjust to different exterior light conditions for a museum. Im triying to make the facade move like plants do when they try to get sunlight.

Started checking out tutorials and this is what i got so far.

Still need to figure out how to make a much softer surface and change the module into some sort of tube or extruded opening.

Any ideas?
