algorithmic modeling for Rhino

How can I render Mesh colors?

I got those from Geco, as an irradiation level indicator. But when I render it, I am simply getting the color of a layer in which these meshes have been baked.

Any help?

Thank you.

what renderer are you using as not all renderers support mesh colours.

Sorry for not posting that:
I am using Vray.

If you are using Brazil for Rhino there is a shader for this. If you are using a renderer that doesn't support mesh colors, like Vray, try the attached definition.

It will generate a bitmap to use as diffuse map of a material and a mesh with modified texture mapping coordinates to match the bitmap:

where does this unicorn lost its horn ?

Just to set things straight:

I used this particular model because I had it handy and used this particular set of colors because they are handily predefined in the gradient component.

This is NOT my subtle way of coming out on this forum.

This is a family forum sir. I'll ask you kindly to keep your filthy ideas to yourself.

You mean this is a "family values" forum? No rainbow unicorns then? ...was McNeel just bought by the Chick-Fil-A parent company?

No horns was what I meant.
