algorithmic modeling for Rhino

dear all,

 

a simple question to split or trim curves.

 

as shown below, i create 2 diagonal-line which tangent the circle. Now I wanna trim the inside arc with these two diagonal-line.

I tried use trim/split it with region/brep. But thats means we need close all of curve as region.

In comparison to GH seems Rhino much easier by command 'trim'.

 

If anybody knows an elegant solution to trim curves like rhino command 'trim'?

The trim command requires a mouse-pick to indicate what portion of a curve to remove. How would you like to provide that information in a Trim component?

If it's just circles and lines, why not create a new arc between the line end-points? Wouldn't that be an easier solution?

thanks for tipps. I create a arc defined by center point, radius and angle domain. like below:

did u have any idea to set-up angel domain, so that the arc match to the 2 endpoints?
