Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

From the set of curves in the 3DM file I used the loft function in GH, found the vertical edge, divided it and used those points to try to get a series of ISO curves on the surface of the loft at the resulting points.  Doesn't seem to be working.

It seems simple enough...I have no idea what I'm doing wrong here.

Please look at the files below.

Thanks in advance for your help

You need to find the closest points on the surface from this points and put uv-coordinates in IsoCurves component (and reparametrize Surface input)....   Cheers

Thanks Igor but this did not work for me.  Did you try this with the 3DM file that I uploaded?

The dome shaped loft is made from closed curves.  It produces a failure in the Srf CP component.

"not set to an instance of an object".

May be you will try recompute solution from Menu?...

I think the second curve from the base was peculiar in some way.  I've managed to get it working and your help is much appreciated.  Thanks again.
