Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

When I use the merge tool to combine data streams instead of getting a combined dataset I am getting seperate data sets based on the paths. How do I overcome this problem. Please help .... Find attached the image of the grasshopper file.

Hi Jyoti,

you'll need to change the data-paths to match up as well. Flattening the inputs of a Merge component will do this, but it may destroy too much information depending on your specific case.

Hi David,

Thanks a lot for your reply... Flattening did work ...however I was thinking if there is any way to make the path similiar without adding any additional steps to make the paths equal.

Unfortunately you chopped of the most interesting part of you image, the actually data path structure displayed in the panel.

It would help a lot if you could upload your definition with any referenced geometry so I can work with the structures as you see them as there are a number of methods to sort this but its not a one size fits all?

Hi Danny I have not referenced any geometry from Rhino. However Please find attached the grasshopper defination. Thanks a lot for ur interest.
