algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi
I'm just using grasshopper, I am a student of engineering . For an exam, I decided to create a structure similar to the Metropol Parasol in Seville, how do I create that division on the grid on asurface by grasshopper? Do you have any tutorials you can recommend, thanks!

It's called a waffle structure, I don't know much on this topic but you can google it.
At the very basic level, you can do this simply in Rhino.
Create a volume, cut this volume in x and y direction with the Contour command. Then extrude the contours to give them thickness.
Same basic process is done on GH. Further steps depend on what you want to do with the structure. This forum has loads of examples.
first you need a bone structure:

after you have your surfaces, you can now create the waffle for this:
nono, you should help me (-: (und nur falls Du auf die Idee kommste einer weiteren Antwort: Spiegel, Doppel Spiegel hoch unendlich (hahaha))
Thanks a lot
something like this?
The definition uses a mathematical function to generate the surface.
You can modify the definition to other geometry enter your convenience.
luck!
