Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I have some buildings I would like to remove from a curve, that makes my water. I have used crv CP --> smaller --> or --> dispatch. It removes buildings, but not the closest and in a random order.

Can anyone tell me what to do????

And can anyone tell me why some of my grasshopper files have a lock symbol on it?

Please help, it's for an assignment for tomorrow.

Can you post the curve parameters as Internalised data (Right click param and select internalise, this saves the curve in GH rather than needing the 3dm model. Or alternatively post a screen shot of what it looks like in Rhino. There's seems to be something missing with one of the CP Curve components early on. I.e. no curve input.

Here is GH and if it doesn't help I have attached the rhino file as well.

I'm sorry I don't speak Dutch. Is there any chance you can highlight where you want me to look?

Sorry, here is a screenshot :)

Try this one..

I made a quick change in how you dispatch the points.

I didn't connect it to the last part of your system, but i think that will be easy for you.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't make it work. I'm new to this program and it's the first time I have to use it, so could you please help me to connect it to my system?

There is no relationship between the 108 Rectangles that you are dispatching and the 600 boolean values used in the pattern

How do I make a relationship between my 108 rectangles and the 600 boolean?

What ever you are trying to do in the Green Group is reducing the number before you need to. Maybe you are doing things in the wrong order.

What happens if you put the 600 random points into your dispatch component then on to your green group before coming back to you rectangles before going on to the blue group.

Its worth saying at this point that grasshopper components work from left to right and where ever possible I recommend you stick to the connecting wires to components further to the right. This way you don't get lost in the cross over.

Thank you for the help. It's working now :)
