Offset in a different plane of the original curve

Dear all, I am a new user, and probably the solution I am attempting to find is very simple, but I don't
know how to get it.

Her is the question:

Is it possible to make a curve offset in a different construction plane of the original source curve? For example: I have the source curve whit the Z coordinate = 0 and the resultant offset curve in Z coordinate =7. Sorry
about my English and I hope others can understand.

You can define any plane for offseting. Just input the plane you want in the P (plane) input of the Offset component.

I have tried this. I am afraid I am doing something wrong because I can see the plane I set in the P (plane) input with a different coordinate form the source curve, however the offset is still in the same plane of the source curve.

I haven't discovered yet how to do an offset of a curve in a different plane. If someone can help me with a definition it would be great. I have attached a file with an example of I'm trying to get.

hey,
well why dont you "move" the offset curve on the "Z" direction and set the distance with a slider at "7"??

I have attached the file.. let me know if this is what you intended..

Hey, thanks for your reply. This sounds perfect!! I should confess I am still very intrigued why I can not use the plane entry in the offset component to do that. Maybe there was something I was not doing well since I have understood this is way to get the offset in another plane, or maybe the plane entry is for another purposes i still don't know.
Anyway your solution works great for what I intend.
