Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I am trying to create floor slabs that link 3 towers. I will also use the edges of the floor slabs to loft a building skin between the outer towers (see diagram below). I have tried a couple different ways to do this:

Method 1 - create a bounding curve around the towers at each level that I want a floorslab (every 3rd floor above the base levels), then loft for skin .. and trim somehow btw the two outer towers

tried this: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/possible-to-generate-a-bl...

Method 2 - create a shrink-wrap definition to wrap all three towers, then derive the contours for floor slabs.

tried this: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/shrinkwrap-1

I cant seem to get either to work at all.

FYI: I want to try to make the building skin to be between the outer towers, then loft horizontally when it comes close to the base levels.

I would really appreciate any help people can provide. thanks!

thank you so much... i think that will work great... and i will show you how it turns out.

just one question.... how do i input 3 curves on the same plane (essentially the same # within each list) into the curves component from the 3 sets of curves?

trying to use the grafting component, but no luck so far...

and for some reason, the number of curves in the lists is double what I think it should be... for instance, if I create a series of 20 curves (20 stories of the building), the output at the end of the definition says "40 locally defined values" ... not sure if this is a problem...
