Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone,

I`m trying to order a flatten list of curves into branches based on the z value of them.

How can I get to it?

Thanks

Hope this helps, you may need to elaborate or post a file if this does not.

Hi again John,

It`s not exactly what I want to do.

I want to, following the image I posted as an example, get all items that has the z value of -42.9999xx into one branch, them all items with the z value of 85.999xxx into another branch and so on.

Don't know how eloquent this solution is, but it should give you an idea how to parse based on criteria?

Yeap, it works but them I would have to set the values by hand.

I would loose all the parametric advantages.

But thanks anyway

Try something like this.

Or, if rounding is not appropriate, and you simply want to group all points with precisely identical Z values:

works great, thanks a lot Andrew
