Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I am relatively new to grasshopper and my question is rather basic, so i appreciate your help and patience.

How do i construct a variable proportion grid onto which I can array a series of points?

By variable, I mean that I want to be able to vary the distance between x's and y's (or proportion of each grid unit), as opposed to having a fixed range (or proportion) of x or y values with a number slider.

So what I am looking for is a grid that looks something like the image attached below, where the proportion of each grid unit can be varied on a number slider.

PS. I am also attaching screenshots of what I have so far, including the ghx definition as I currently have it set with a 'fixed proportion' grid.

Thanks very much! Let me know if I should clarify anything.
