Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I had done undate for grasshopper lately and I noticed that some "area" buttons is marked on "old". It was not mal fuctioning but recently I could not operate this smoothly anymore.

Sometimes, it shuts down and takes time longer.

What's the problem?

Hi Wonseok,

when a component has an OLD icon drawn on it, it means there is a newer version of that component available. Sometimes components can be updated automatically, you can try this via the Solution -> Upgrade Legacy Component... menu item. Sometimes this is not possible and you'll need to update a component manually.

Note though that just because a component is has been marked Obsolete doesn't mean it stops working. It should still work the same as before. If you are getting crashes, either upload a file so I can repeat that or submit a crash report when Rhino goes down.

Thank you David.

I think this problem is temporary thing and it might be solved eventually. Checking your reply, I did notice update popup on my pc screen from Rhino.

I do not know whether it is solved or not. Maybe I made my modeling with poorly method. I will check again myself and I will do as you advised
